I knew that already.
I have plenty of more important things to do, if only I could bring myself to do them....

Today I learned that people still try and spam a vacant, dying message board.

Today I haven't learned a dang thing. And tonight I may even lose a couple of learned things, thanks to Guinness and a certain Irish pub.

You should see how many are stopped by either the automated filters or Thorz' precognitive abilities...

It is not about us who still come here to post, it is about the google juice.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

Okay... I'm hoping people could see that pic, see the SG watermark, and understand how someone could jump to the conclusion that's from a set of mugshots.

Turns out that's not a mugshot, but from when she was in the Marines.

So, my apologies to Ms. Arthur, and let me note I thought it was cool she had a rap sheet.

Honestly, I think it was cool she was in the Marines.

Even though I should have realized ages ago, today I learned the theme song for I Love Lucy is uncomfortably close to the theme for Star Trek.

They're both Desilu joints, so I guess it shouldn't be a surprise, yet it is nevertheless.

I learned that being a Tripper is a thing (they're people who get totally stoned out of their minds and screw). Back in my day we just called that the weekend.

"Tripper" is the colloquial German word for gonorrhoea.

I'm sure you get one after the other, if you're indiscriminate about it.

I think I saw that about to happen last night.

Before knowing this term I'd be forced to call it "bottle of Cuervo and a three-way".
