okay, so i've set up my PC/Mac wireless network using a Netgear MR814v2.

i have a Gateway desktop P3 running XP connected by a USB wireless adapter, and my airport extreme iBook should be arriving any day now.

My question is, if i have a USB printer connected to my desktop PC, can i use it to print from my iBook over the wireless network, and if so, what would i have to do to set up such a configuration?

i'm just trying to get all of this set up and running in anticipation of my first Mac.
thanks,

rick

Set up the printer as a shared printer in XP. On your iBook, add the printer using Windows Printing in the Printer Setup Utility. Of course, the PC will have to be running when you want to print from your iBook, but otherwise you should be fine.
