I wish there was a button to unmount my camera!
I can unmount my iPod in iTunes, but for iPhoto I have to click on the smiley dude, click computer, click on the drive (called untitled on my olympus... btw can i rename this or would that mess up my camera?) and throw it in the trash. This gets tiresome.
Hope that gets added in iPhoto 2.1

I also want to be able to drag a picture(s) onto the icon in the dock and have them import. i do this all the time to attach a picture to an email with Mail.
also, i wish i could drag a picture from safari into iPhoto.

Bumping this in case anyone knows of any plans to allow images received via mail to be added simply to the iPhoto library.
Perhaps this feature already exists as an applescript or in a more recent version of iPhoto (I am still on version 2). Can anyone tell me?

You can also click in Safari and import a photo off the web directly into iPhoto in Tiger.

I use Microsoft Digital Image Suite 10 (a PC only software) and it allows you to perform panoramic stitching-something I'd like to see in iPhoto:
'New! Get it all in
Piece together multiple horizontal and vertical photos using intelligent Panoramic Stitching to show the whole story at once. Perfect for capturing the view from a mountaintop. '
I wish iPhoto could this-currently you'd have to use Photoshop Elements or more expensive standalone stitching software.

They could use QTVR to display the resulting panoramas in iPhoto.

Hasn't QTVR been effectively dead for years now?

my question is "how do people come across threads that were last posted in about a year ago?"
if a thread reaches page 2 of a forum i forget about it.
