I was watching CNN earlier today, saw an ad for Moneyline.
Steve jobs is scheduled to appear at 6pm eastern us time in an Apple Bounces Back type of special.

I'm guessing he'll be discussing new machines / current outlook for Apple...

that was the dumbest interview I have seen in a while...

The interviewer was an idiot...

his only reactions to anything was...

"yea, sure... uh, OK,.... OK... yup, ahah..... "

and then he just cut jobs off...

Jobs comes off as a moron...

interviewer is a moron...

that was a waste of time...

Lou Dobbs is an idiot...

Did you see when Dobbs asked Steve about the G5? Stevie gave him th erun around about a lot to announce in one day, and when Dobbs pushed, he just got the "We don't talk about future products" line.

If you didn't see it then you literally just missed it. Wasn't much to speak of, but Steve managed to avoid a question about when the G5's (or other not-released-yet products) were to be introduced and wouldn't let Lou Dobbs go until he'd waved the iMac's neck at him. Oh and told him it was cool and mad Lou Dobbs agree with him

Recapped most of what was in the keynote, but he did indicate that market share was what Apple was going to address in the next year or so.
G5 Macs? "Well you know we don't comment on unannounced products...". He left a tantalising "but" at the end of this, but was interrupted by Lou Dobbs.
Jobs also managed to get his salesman's foot in the door by saying "Lou can I just show you this?" at the end of the interview, and managing to yank the new iMac into centre stage before he was cut off.
You can't fault him for effort[

Um, wasn't that almost exactly the same as the last major product launch interview Steve gave to CNN? This time last year? And I'm sure it was Lou Dobbs then too... nobody on the show got more than 3 minutes though, MoneyLine is like that. You didn't really expect it to be insightful did you?!?

Just remember that CNN is part of the evil AOL.

Boy, Dobbs got very close to experience the full Steve while trying to get him to talk about future products.

Its was the first time I have got to be able to watch a video other than quicktime (crappy speeds here) that had to do with apple...

thought it might actaully be interesting... being in full motion video that is...

but it was short and over to quick...

Yes, Dobbs is an idiot. Did you notice he did the same thing to the dude from Chrysler and the financial guy that were on before Jobs? The money guy was in the middle of a sentance when Dobbs said Thanks, that's all the time we have. We'll keep an eye on your predictions. What a jack-ass.

Well, all I can say is that was I saw was expected. I did not expect to know a lot more about the Mac products world, and I expected Steve to just give a small recap of information tha I already know.
