I set up a copy of Parallels for my father, as he uses windows a lot for work but loves the mac. I just used all the default settings, which resulted in him having an 8 gig C: drive in windows. He has since used up all that space, and it's not expanding. I've tried changing the size of the expanding drive with the Parallels Image Tool and it hasn't worked.

So I backed up his windows system and made a copy, this time telling the Parallels Image Tool to make a non-expanding, 20 gig drive. I ended up with a file that is 20 gigs. However, in Windows it still only shows up as 8 gigs. I did discover that Windows does *recognize* the 20 gigs, but sees 12 of it as "unpartitioned space."

Is there any way to get windows to add those 12 gigs to the C: drive?

All glory to the hypnotoad.
