OK i have a lovely problem with my pismo. I want to make sure that i do the right thing to fix this cause i already obviously screwed up...
I just bought a new apc battery, and it worked great for a while (the old apple battery just stopped charging, light was always blinking) and now it too has stopped. Unlike with the other battery, the light doesn't blink, it just stays at one out of four lights on, and in os X it says 1% and keeps calculating time to charge for all of eternity. Since its been over 45 days since i bought the battery, should I:
A. Buy a new battery (yuck)
B. Take it to a local reseller and have it serviced
C. Pay xxx.xx dollars to send it to apple and have it serviced
or D. something my shallow mind hasn't thought of.
yes i zapped the pram several times, and yes i reset the power management thingy via the button on the back.
hope someone's able to give me a solution
thanks in advance
Rich

I had the same problem.

You're most likely just going to have to buy another battery. Make sure you buy from someone that can warranty it for at least a year, though...

On the plus side, dead batteries make great paperweights...
