This is just a feeler thread to see if anybody might be interested in buying my Pismo. I'm in my senior year of college, and I just can't use the Pismo for much video editing and photo work. I'm thinking about buying a Mac Mini as a temporary machine until I start work this summer, but in order to pay for it I need to sell my other stuff. So here's the specs:
Powerbook G3 Pismo
400MHz
512MB RAM (2x 256MB SO-DIMMS)
30GB IBM Travelstar hard drive
Airport card
Two batteries: one holds a good charge, the other only about 20-30 minutes. Together they'll power the machine for about four hours, depending on what you're doing with it.
I also have the dummy battery, which fills an empty battery slot.
VST Dual Battery Charger
DVD drive (I'm one of those folks who doesn't use CDs on the road, so I just have a standalone superdrive at my desk. I haven't used the drive in months, but I'm pretty sure it works. I'll try and find it and see)
There are no case cracks, dead/stuck pixels, or anything like that. I'm running OS X 10.3.9.
So... what do you suppose this would go for? $400? $450? Please let me know if there's any interest in this machine, as it could be on the market soon.
