Can anybody tell me how I can migrate the Rules I've created in Mail.app 1.2.5 (on Jaguar 10.2.8) to v2.1.1 (on Tiger 10.4.8)? Or do I need to re-create them manually?

Thanks.

I am surprised they didn't survive the update. I did a number of 10.2 to 10.4 updates and the mail account settings worked just fine. There were not any rules that I remember, though... Did you do the update on the same computer? Migration Assistant?

I transferred everything manually. Not as maddening as it might sound...except for the little things that get lost in the shuffle. I had read somewhere that Migration Assistant is not always to be trusted.

I know there's a file in the Mail folder on my Jaguar system called MessageSorting.plist, though it doesn't seem to be the same as the MessageRules.plist file in the same Mail folder on Tiger.
