I am commencing a website, and I want to allow visitors to email me. But I want to stop, or at least make it difficult for, spammers to find the email address and start to spam me.

What are the best ways to do this?

One idea is to put my email address in as a graphic, and then people have to type it in themselves.

Another would be to have the address in a database and call it up when people select the "email us" option, so it is not listed anywhere - I think I could do that, though I'm not sure. This would negate the need for them to type (and possibly mistype) the address.

Any other ideas please?
