Great news!! ABC seems to have a great staff. They rolled out a 64 bit application when asked (not just a 32 bit sent to 64 bit OS). Now they are doing Mac application. Kudos!

Dangit! I retasked my dual quad to folding while SETI is down. All I have left running BOINC is my PPC stuff.

Maybe I'll just run one folding SMP client, and 4x ABC...or maybe move my MBP (Core Duo) to ABC for a while.

I'll think on it.

Instead of creating an account first, just try attaching at ABC@home beta. Then you can log/modify your account from their web page.

I tried that and got a message that it was not currently accepting new accounts and prompting me for the email and password.

Sorry Arkayn. I had actually posted a disclaimer in my message that Beta was closed to new membership ATM, but existing members could now attach their Mactels. However, I saw on their web-update they they "re-opened" for new members so I deleted that portion of the message. Guess they haven't yet in fact.

Project admins/developers are pretty responsive so I expect Zombie will get a reply quickly.
Stay tuned.

I joined the main site with no problems, of course I can only use that with my 2 PC's and they are running Einstein at the moment.

Account creation should be fixed now. Give it another shot.

Joined and am crunching their units at about a 2 minute clip!!

The eMac is just plain idle after I decided that taking 40 hours to crunch a 128 byte file is just plain ridiculous. This was on the iMac too.
