Anyone know the breakdown for American Express reward points? I've been searching their website and I cannot figure out how it accrues. Is it $.10 on the dollar, or some other value?
Anyone with an American Express card know?

I've been a member for decades and I still can't figure it out.
On my Amex Platinum Delta god-card it's $1 for one point.

I have an amercian express blue and I don't think its that high. I can always call them, but like any other support call its a royal pain to try to get a real human being on the line,

You should register online and access your account. There are a lot of readmes, but each card is a different 'product' with widely and wildly different options.
Calling might be easier.

I've been poking around there and so far I've not found it

Ok, I dunno then.
My advice: ditch any reward points card and get the Cash Blue.
It's free, and about the best cash back program you can get on the market.

For Blue card reward points:
$1 = 1 point
5000 points = $50 rewards

Wow, that's crappy.
Blue Cash FTW:
5000 points (Gas, groceries, pharmacies) = $ 250
5000 points (everything else) = $ 75
HOWEVER: this only applies once you break $ 6,500 spending per year.
Until then, you get $ 0.01 / $ 0.015 per 1 $ spent. Still better than your Blue Rewards crap.

I have an Amex Plum Card (business card). I get 2% back on everything if my monthly purchase is over $5000. Otherwise it's 1%. Well, I spend over $10k/mo, so it's $200 back monthly.
And no, it's not $10k worth of gas, groceries, and drugs. Okay, maybe drugs.

Yes, the Plum card is not bad, but for most people, it's not attainable.
Cash Blue is the better option for Joe Public.
