Im in the process of changing all of the icons on my dock using candybar. all of them worked fine except for the finder. no matter what i try to change it to nothing happens. ive restarted and tried everything else i could think of. any ideas????

second...is there a way to make the little arrows under the open applications white, since my background is black. and if so what application?

hmm .. have you tried restoring the icons to default, restarting, applaying the icons again ? try that and post .. and as for the dock triangles, it's a free haxie by Unsanity called ClearDock (it lets you change the triangle color and set the dock transparency to your preference) .

ive tried that and nothing...im not sure whats up.

ive been using clear dock for a whlie and never knew that was one of the options. thanks for the help.

try clearing caches, restarting, applying the icons, then restarting the dock with tinker tool. If that doesn't work, you can always do it the old fashioned way by going to Library/System/Core Services/Finder, then opening the package contents and replacing the icon manually.
