I'm having trouble getting a HP 600 series with a USB adapter to work with a graphite iBook (366) with Mac OS 9.1 and 128 MB of RAM. I have the DJ USB software installed (the newest version) and the Chooser cannot see it. HELP PLEASE!
If this is a serial printer the USB software most likely won't do. You might need to check for a Keyspan Dual USB Adapetr that can emulate the printer port on the chooser. The drawback; it costs 79 bucks! You might want to buy a new printer
The only problem is that this printer worked a few months ago on the same computer (iBook 366). I suppose this may be because of OS 9.1 as it was running 9.0.4 before. That's possibly the answer then, but I just want to get other input. Thanks!
