Hi.

I've been here for a while without posting too much, and when I have questions I get good answers..

The next week I'll sign up on a DreamHost plan (L1). What I've read about promo codes is that if you give me your code, you'll get ˜$97 off on your next bill, but I don't want to give away ˜$97 to a complete stranger

so...what's your code? (preferably a $97 off one)

Thank You

TURTLE777 is my code. Gives you 50% off.

I know others here have given away full $ 97 promos. So you might wanna wait a little longer.

I don't know if things changed over at dreamhost, but my experience has been less then stellar.

The outages, slowdowns and inability to access my email accounts finally caused me to drop them. People complain about .mac email and storage, but they've been a whole lot more stable then dreamhost.

I read the threads about hosting and came out with the conclusion that dreamhost is a good choice regarding price and service.

I'll search about the suff you mentioned, thank you!

PREACH IT BROTHERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! I had the worst experience of my hosting life with Dreamhost. Hopefully they are better for you!

SIngle best reason to drop Dreamhost now:
DreamHost Status Blog Archive Policy Clarification: Personal storage & back-ups…

i.e. despite "offering" 500GB of storage for your money, as of today Dreamhost is enforcing a policy that you cannot use that space for backup or storage of files not meant for distribution on the Web.

Just a few months ago, Dreamhost was promoting the use of your Dreamhost space to back up your iTunes music.

I've never been one to hop on the "bitch and moan about my web host" bandwagon, but this is incredibly lame.

It's amazing what happens when things are cut off at 8 letters.
