I like Affleck, but I see him more as Superman (especially after Hollywoodland).

I just found out about this, so I'm still in shock. I'd rather Adam West return.
I suppose Matt Damon will play Robin?

Ben Affleck as a superhero? I have one and only one thing to say about that ...
Daredevil
I rest my case.

Affleck was fine as Daredevil. In fact, he was only thing good about that film, as the story, directing, and entire supporting cast was terrible. No one can rise above a terrible script or terrible director.
Let's all remember: Chris Evans was weak as Johnny Storm but perfect as Captain America. Let's all remember: the internet hated the idea of Heath Ledger as Joker. Frankly, I find all the fuss about Affleck as Batman to be more of the same shallow whining.
Affleck is a good choice for Batman. He's a good actor, he looks the part, he's a fan of the material, and he's young enough for several sequels while still being old enough to play a character who's wiser and older than Cavill's Superman. And this is good positioning for him to direct and star in a Batman solo film which - if you've seen his film The Town - would be fncking awesome.
Affleck has done some amazing things as an actor in Hollywood. I have high hopes.
In fact, I can't think of a single actor who would be a better choice. Jon Hamm? Too old.
Speaking of Daredevil, it was the only superhero film that went with the "visors over eyes" mask that closely mimics the comics. I wonder if they will abandon the "painted eyeshadow" that every Batman film since Keaton (and Kick Ass too!) has used. I'd like to see the blue and gray Batsuit too. Arkham Asylum pulled it off.
And please, please, please: give me the World's Greatest Detective, not the World's Greatest Ninja. There's a reason it was called Detective Comics.
Also, I nominate Aaron Paul as Robin.

Could this mean we'll see Jessica Alba as Wonder Woman?

Did anyone bother seeing the second one?
But I thought he was fine in the first one (Which was meh). Of course, perhaps my enjoyment doesn't count as a heathen who doesn't give a shit about the actual comics.

Indeed he is a good actor. There's no denying that. The spoken scenes were fine. But I'm going to have to ask you to look at the action scenes again. Affleck is stiffer than a 2 x 4. He's just not believable in that aspect of the role.

God I hope not. Jessica Alba is gorgeous without question. But she's way too skinny to play Wonder Woman.

That squeaky voice as the Dark Knight? I think I'm going to be sick.

For FF:RotSS, I blame the story. Seriously, why was the FF working with the army? Imagine a story where Spiderman, Daredevil, or Doctor Strange were working with the army to see how stupid it is. And no one wants to hear Sue Storm/Alba whine about her wedding day. And the FF are working with Doom because they are worried about an enemy they've never even seen?

If can't recall that issue, but surely the stunt coordinator is the issue here, right?

Because Batman films are typically free of hoarse, idiotic Batman voices?
They should just let Affleck speak normally, and modulate the Batman voice in post-production.

Absolutely not. Just like it's not the fault of the choreographer if someone simply can't dance!

I'll give Affleck a shot. He is capable of decent acting. Whether Batman should have a Southie accent however... I don't think so.

It might turn out all right; I have much faith in Snyder and Goyer after watching the original in the theatre.

Who or what is behind him on the left of the pic?
The Batmobile looks like a cross between the Burton cars and the Tumbler.
Edit: Ignore. I saw a mask/face there, its part of the back wheel.

The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.
