Hi

I bought last Friday a gorgeous Apple Cinema Display 23". The image quality is very good and everything works fine. Exept the firewire ports at the back of the display. When I first connected my external HD and my iSight, it was not recognized and the HD did not mount.

But everything seems ok now, the HD mounts and the iSight launches iChat as it should be. So what happened ? Why did it not work from the first minute ? Could there be problems ahead ? I haven't contacted apple yet about this issue but I will.

Any idea ?

Thanks and merry christmas to all !

I take it you've plugged the display's firewire cable into your Mac?
