Anybody run a dual processor S900 with OS X?
Can it see/use both CPUs?

Since the OS needs to be tailored to run on specific hardware and considering that the Umax S900 is both old and non-Apple, I would expect the chances that Apple, or anyone else, has customized the OS to work on that hardware to be nil. Even if OS X could run, it would probably be quite slow.

Nope, OS X only supports dual G4s. Dual 604s will not be recognized... it'll only see one of them.

I have read conflicting reports. Some saying that OS X (10.1 and earlier) is, at the very least, mildly Dual 604e aware. I have also read other reports that have said OS X has ZERO awareness of pre-G4 MP configs.

Basically, if you have the Dual S900 right now, load up 10.1 with XPF and give it a shot. Let us know how it goes.

No, xpostfacto does not allow use of DP and that is the only way you could ever get OS X on that machine.
