Pepsi Lime or Coke Lime?

Which do you like better? Yesterday I had a Coke with Lime and now I'm having a Pepsi with Lime. I can't really tell the difference except that Pepsi in general has less carbonization.

I dunno. I can hardly taste the lime in Coke Lime.
I rather squeeze some fresh lime in Coke classic. Tastest much better.

I like these roughly the same amount...
#1: plain Diet Coke (but NOT Coke Zero, and NOT the sucralose-sweetened kind).
#2: Coke (the sugar kind) with lime (fresh lime is best, the pre-limed kind is OK)
#3: Cherry Coke (also the sugar kind, and again, homemade is better than the pre-cherried stuff)

All my life I have been a Coke person, but since a few years, I had switched to Pepsi Twist (lemon taste) but Coke launched its Lime flavor, and Pepsi followed soon after. They discontinued the Twist brand and only changed the colors of their label from yellow to green. I don't like either Lime flavor so I'm back to my old love, Coca-Cola Classic (but slowly replacing it by water).

Do the taste tests use room-temp sodas? I seem to recall the one I took did. Point being that maybe Pepsi does taste better than Coke to a lot of people when it's served room temp.

Well, damn. While out this morning in my SUV doing my so called 12 year old's job, according to butt wipe Rob, I had a Coke man tell me they are fazing out Coke With Lime.

The reason why Pepsi wins taste-tests is that it is sweeter and generally more appealing in small sips taken at taste tests. Try an ice-cold glass of each and see which you prefer instead.
