Hello Guys, Gals...

I have just purchased my first iMac and was about to take it back. I mostly stay in a terminal working on my servers so the underlying unix is great!

I mostly use adobe photoshop and dreamweaver on windows since dreamweaver highlights php very well. I am doing more of SEO work these days and have decided to try out the big mac I have always wanted one and the P/VT on Mac Intel platform really is fast with vista ultimate. But I really want to work inside of mac alone if possible.

Can you guys give me a cheat sheet of the best development apps to perform my work?
Thanks in advance, I just figured I would dive right in and get it over with

Creative Suite 3 Web Premium runs natively on the Intel mac, which includes Photoshop extended and Dreamweaver.

If you're already familiar with the Unix shell then you shouldn't need any GUI programs. Enable syntax highlighting in vim and you're set

However, if you're like me and enjoy making your development life a little easier I'd check out Coda.
