I just went from a PC to a Macbook Pro. I have two questions. When using Yahoo messenger I can't find any emoticons like I could on my PC when using Yahoo. Does Yahoo on a mac have emoticons? Second question how do you delete someone off your contact list on yahoo messenger?

Hi and welcome to the Mac world. Don't you see the emoticons at the right margin of the chat window?



As for to delete contacts, right clic (or ctrl+clic) on the contact to be deleted and a menu will show up where 'delete…' is shown.

Funny I did notice the emoticon in the bottom right corner of the chat window but when I hovered over it with my mouse the arrow didn't appear so I never bothered to click it on. Everything you pointed out answered both questions..thanks!
