ok, so yesterday early in the morning the dhl-guy rang at my door and to my surprise my long-awaited powerbook 12" finally made it. i had been bugging my cancom-dealer for over a month, but they couldn't tell me anything because they were waiting for apple to deliver. and then suddenly, it was there =)

so as you can imagine, i ripped of the packaing in no time, set up my new love (which was almost frozen due to the low temp. here) and i was overwhelmed in joy =) the thing is absolutely perfect, no dead pixels, no nagging noise, no latch problems, no heat issues.. i'm just typing this from it, and the keyboard is georgous! i just love it!

so to all of you in europe who are still waiting for your 12", here are some pics to show you why it's DEFINITELY worth the wait:

just what the doctor ordered: 12" G4 1Ghz, 512mb of extra ram, and the new BT-Mouse

apple's packaging has always been a beauty

the specs

need i say more? =)

finally opening it up

spicing it up with some extra ram =)

booting for the first time.. attention please

adding wireless beauty to it =)

my new mobile setup, including the SE T610 and a canon powershot S400 (not in the pic). perfectly fit the alu-case of the pbook

1ghz and 768ram in the palm of your hand =)
finally here and absolutely flawless:
powerbook 12" 1ghz rev b combo 768 mb ram bt-mouse

Congrats on receiving your new PowerBook! Looks great.

With any luck, mine may show up soon. Anyone else in Ontario, Canada experiencing long delays on 12" Powerbooks?

It's been almost a month since I ordered mine.

Looks great man! I want to hear how that mouse holds up. Do plan on lugging it around with your PB? Seems it'd be an ideal travel mouse as there are no cords. I was thinking about getting a keyboard for my room (I need two buttons, so the mouse isn't really in the question).

And the lighting in your pictures is pretty cool, very dramatic.

^Thanks to sealobo

Thanks a lot , mainly for the pictures, those have cheered me up. Will keep fingers crossed for mine to arrive as soon as possible, and because of the delay with Panther as an extra.

congratulations on the powerbook!

as for the BT mouse, i carry mine everywhere. If u have an ipod, use the black pouch that it came with to store the mouse in. It's a perfect fit.

Yeah I have had a 12in on order since the end of August. They upgraded me to the new one the day that was released... but still no book.

Got my bag for it last week, and I am getting some RAM next week. Hell I have been paying it off already!
