Searched for this and came up with nothing. Sharepoints doesn't seem to work correctly in Leopard (and maybe isn't necessary in Leopard).

I have an external USB 2.0 disk that I'm trying to share over my network. When I open the Sharing Preference Pane, and click the plus (+) sign under shared folders, I am able to add the external disk (root directory). The column next to that is the users column. At first there aren't any users in this column. When I click the plus sign under the users column, I am presented with a list of users from my computer. When I select and name and hit "select" the user isn't added to the respective column. Furthermore, the disk isn't shared when accessed from another computer on the network (Mac, PC or first gen Xbox). Both SMB and AFP sharing are enabled and other folders that reside locally on the internal HD are shared correctly.

Any suggestions? Thanks
