In order to use “Final Cut Pro”, you need to update to the latest version.

The version of Final Cut Pro installed on this Mac is not compatible with macOS Mojave. Download the latest version from the App Store.
I have to upgrade to 10.4.4 due to 10.1.4 being "not supported by Mohave" I have several projects that I can no longer open. There was a way to run FCP under High Sierra by opening the app in terminal, but that no longer works.

Questions.
If I upgraded 10.4.4, will it replace the 10.1.4 version? (There is a 30 trial on Apple's website, 60 days if you have an older version.)
Why is 10.1.4 not compatible? I thought it was because it's 32 bit, and Apple is dropping support for 32 bit apps. When I look in system summary under applications, it says it's a 64 bit app.

On I side note, I will have to make DVDs of my iDVD projects while I can before it stops running.
