you need a "Maybe" option.

Give me six months minimum, and I'll get back with you on that.

Personally, I've never completely understood the difference between loving someone and being in love with someone. I imagine the latter includes a degree of infatuation, but in my experience that doesn't last very long.

I can't say I've ever been just insanely ga-ga over anyone.

Yep! Wonderfully so.

I'm in love with my wife. I keep falling in love with her for some strange reason... like maybe she's still the most wonderful person in the universe or something.

I'm in love with my son-a miracle from the start, and he's grown to be quite a nice person.

I'm in love with my friends, too. Obviously this is a different kind of love, but isn't all love "different?"

If he was in his own room how is it illegal? I could imagine he would be in trouble for boinking a Schwinn on the side of the road, but this is ridiculous.

Yes, I found the woman of my dreams a few years ago and haven't let her out of my sight- in fact she's locked in the closet

Seriously I've been so blessed to find such a great woman.

Most misleading article title ever. He wasn’t trying to have sex with the bike in a courtroom at all!

Also: no, I’m not. I spent about a year with my ex before figuring out for certain that I wasn’t. Yeah, I’m a bit slow sometimes.

Huh?

That makes no sense at all. My trust has never been betrayed and I love my wife very much.

I think you misunderstood. Cypher's post says basically that love can't exist once trust has been betrayed.

He said "until," not "when."

It's too bad that his definition of love is so conditional.

Do'h your right - I totally mis-read that.

Love shouldn't be conditional, but we are all imperfect beings and by opening yourself up to love someone leaves you vulnerable. If trust is broken it really complicates a relationship.

I fail to see how that's "so conditional" - if you don't have trust, what do you have?

Yup. I dated her for a while in the first couple years after my divorce and she has never left my mind. I asked her to marry me but she said no. I have dated other women since then--and had a few casual lovers--but I have yet to meet anyone who has intrigued/satisfied/ angered/thrilled/completed me like she has. I loved to watch her talk in the morning because she would talk with her hands and be all animated. She did this impression of a vampire bunny--She called it "Bunnicula"--that just killed me. And when she would smile I would feel all funny inside--like hot chocolate on a summer morning funny. But it was a good kind of funny. God I miss her.
