Hey all,

http://www.colorwarepc.com/products/...x?configid=501

These guys will paint your iPod any of 20 or so colors. Has anyone done it? Can you comment on it?

Yuk. But then, when I look around campus at the PC laptops, people are willing to lug around some ugly-ass crap. So I guess there are some people who would do it.

i think that it's funny that some of them actually think they don't look like total fools with their 19 pound "laptop".

While the 17" PowerBook looks amazing, it's still monster like with reference to its size.

12" PB IMHO looks the best.

Two words :

VOID and Warranty

I found it irritating that you have to press continue to see the color choice, and the names?

Dragon = Forest Green
Powder = ick
Steel = Gray 50%

Can't they fix that rediculous thing and make a simple flash interface? Sheesh. Hmmmm.

Click "view details" under "Color choices" and you'll get a popup that you can use to see all the colors.

Do they not know how to use an ellipse tool? The mask they used to change the colors on the mock-up page is all jaggedy around the buttons, making it look like they screwed up the paint job.

But you know, there's no accounting for taste. Sheesh-- go to the mall and browse through the custom cell phone covers, and see what people will buy. There are folks out there who'd want a purple/green fade on an iPod, no matter how bad of an idea it is.

Edit: My lizard-brain can't type.
