It's fairly obvious if you ask me. I'm glad somebody took the time to put that together. The first thing I thought to myself when I saw the results of the election was what is the average IQ of the states voting.

It says something and what that says is the ratio of urban to rural population in each state. This ratio both (and independently) influences the average IQ of a state and the average political leaning. That does not mean that intelligence influences political leaning.

So rednecks are less intelligent, and they vote Bush, to sum it up.

And the combined IQ of everybody who has posted (up until this post) in this thread is less than 100, as that page is a hoax, and only somebody with an extremely low IQ would ever believe something that ridiculous.

I voted for Bush so I am a homophobic, flag-waving, god-fearing, gun-toting, uneducated, isolationist, ethnocentric redneck.

This hoax is old already, it's already been disproven in the PL.

Stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason.

The Republican party really is taking a slow turn for the better, though. The bigots and ignorami are slowly dying out while more and more young conservatives are actually quite moderate and socially liberal/apathetic.

Here's hoping for a brighter future where, in the minds of some masses, Republican does not immediately register excessively blind nationalism and Christian Conservatism.
