Hey guys! I'll be purchasing a 15in C2D sometime this month. I'm looking for a Hard Sleeve that I could use to protect the laptop while it was in another bag. Any Suggestions!?

Eddy: FYI, the Booq Viper, while definitely a great sleeve, is not a "hard" sleeve. According to a Booq distributor (Ready & Sold) in one of these MacNN forums, the Viper has a rigidity similar to cardboard. It does provide good protection, but you should not go into a purchase thinking of it as a hard case. I'm personally considering the purchase of the Booq Boa system, which also includes a Viper sleeve.

ooh! Very good to know. I guess the AXIO might be my only option? I was just looking for a hard case that was a little less expensive. Oh well! Thanks for the help!

Just took a look at the Axio hardsleeve and am quite impressed. I had read reviews of their hardshell backbacks, but wasn't convinced it would be a wise decision. The hardsleeves do look nice though. I just emailed the company to ask when they will be putting out a version for the 17" MBP.

Acme Slim cases are more sleeve-like than bag-like, and are hard-sided.
