Just thought some of you who are awaiting delivery of your MBPs may be interested in an Apple promotion that they do not seem to be making much noise about. I discovered somewhat accidentally that Apple is offering $100 rebates on certain Canon printers when purchased on the same invoice as a Mac (may just be pro models). If your notebook hasn't yet shipped, it's not too late to add one of these printers to your order, all for the same shipping costs (or free if you went the non-expedited route). I had actually bought a new Canon Pixma ip4300 last week at Staples, but it's now going back as I've now got the same printer coming from Apple, with a $100 rebate to boot.

You can also get HP printers too - got a C3180 for free with my MacBook Pro purchase on 10/31.

I highly recommend the Canon Pixma ip4300, great printer and FAST!!! You can even print on CDs if you buy the tray and setup the printer. I replaced an Epson R200 and this is much much faster and about the same quality prints, the epson had 6 ink tanks this only has 4 and a pigment black, plus the ink is 100-year ink. It even does duplex printing, what?!?! YES!
