I've read the sticky, but it didn't help me too much

I live in a city where it rains approx. 230 days/year, and I'm looking for a MBP sleeve that actually is "waterproof". I'm not gonna drop the computer into the ocean, but it pours down, so it will have to "do the job".

Any ideas?

It's not a laptop sleeve, but LowePro offers what appear to be pretty nice laptop backpacks that include raincovers. Maybe more than you need, but worth a look perhaps.

Brenthaven's 15/17 Pro bag isn't "waterproof" but is quite resistant and little to no water seems to enter when it rains in Dallas. I haven't been outdoors in rain for longer than 3 minutes though...

The Vyper Booq sleeve works for me:

It's water resistant, light, and tough.
