Audio device producer Life N Soul has announced its new BE501 8 Driver Bluetooth headphones, and the BM211 Virtual Surround Bluetooth Speaker. The company's Bluetooth headphones feature Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, and can pair with two different devices with a range of up to 30 feet. Offering built-in lossless transmission technology and dynamic surround sound, the BE501's frequency response ranges from 5Hz to 25kHz. Each ear piece bears 1pc woofer and 3pc drivers, with a total of 8 neodymium dynamic audio drivers. The headphones can hold a charge for 28 hours of play time, and 1300 hours of standby time.

Life N Soul's BM211 Bluetooth stereo speaker is intended for watching movies, playing music and phone calls, the BM211 features a built-in microphone facilitates hands-free use and calling when paired with a smartphone. NFC compatible for Android users, the BM211 also can act as a stand for all standard smartphones and tablets. The headphones are priced at $180 and the speaker is priced at $80, and are available for purchase through Life N Soul now.

Braven releases BRV-Bank rugged portable battery

Braven has announced the immediate availability of the BRV-Bank, a Bluetooth-enabled, rugged portable backup battery with 6000mAh of power. Featuring IPX5 water-resistant and shockproof protection, the battery can power the accompanying USB flashlight in addition to its capacity to quickly charge tablets, smartphones and other gadgets.



The BRV-Bank has a proprietary app that allows users to locate the battery, monitor its power levels, individually turn on and off each port to conserve power, and also activate its Bear Mode and S.O.S. features. The Bear Mode activates one's smartphone's motion sensor, and sends signals to the bank to sound an alarm and activate the connected USB flashlight when the phone is moved. The S.O.S. mode activates the universal distress signal, engages a visual morse code for "S.O.S" using the connected USB flashlight.
