I am new to the macintosh platform, and I was looking for a good book to get that would have tips/tricks etc. Telling about some undocumented shortcuts and how to use MacOS more efficiently. And it would be nice if it had a good definition of Applescript, but if it didn't are there any good books about Applescript?

tranferred to MacOS 9 forum...

The Little Mac Book seems to be popular, and Ted Landau's book (he runs MacFixit.com), SadMacs, Bombs and Other Disasters

look in your local B.Dalton's or Barnes&Noble, etc...

OS 9 The Missing Manual by David Pogue. Can't go wrong. Order it from Amazon and get it for about $16 plus shipping. David Pogue is a great Macintosh writer, wrote Macs for Dummies, etc. Good reading. Ken

MacSecrets - 5th ed by David Pogue and Joseph Schorr.

Pogue is extremely entertaining as well as informative.
