Our 40 pound dog just stomped across my GF's iBook screen.

No damage at all. Yay Apple!

They are tuff I had a bad accident with mine as well and it is still perfect but needless to say the car is not. Smacked the windsheild and everything just some minor scratches and it is still perfect.

Mine was in my back-pack with no other protection when we took a spill off my bike onto the pavement at 25mph. Granted, a human body is a great shock absorber (especially when we bounce, ooch!).

Cheers!

Was it the screen part or the back of the screen? If it was the actual screen, you're damn lucky.

I never let my iBook touch the floor.

here is the car that the iBook was in hit the center of the windshield and bounced back to the back. My 15" flat pannel iMac was in the back seat too. It was in it's box thank god.
