I want to purchase a new name for my .mac account which points at the same web space as my current name.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

No Joy on the Apple site, i'm sure this was possible before.

Yes, 2 names, 1 iDisk.

I've kind of given up on the idea now.

Just bought some hosting from Fasthosts.

Are you talking about buying a DNS name to point to your iDisk (i.e. jon.org links to homepage.mac.com/jon/)? Because, I swear I've seen post about people doing that somewhere. If that's the case, try searching this our boards. If you don't find it here, I'll search some of the other Mac boards I visit (I can't remember where I saw it, but I'm pretty sure it was here).

I think he wants another homepage.mac.com/xxxx/ username to point back to his main .mac account. That doesn't seem possible. It would be a better idea to just buy a domain.

This is what i have already, I have a domain registered which forwards via frames to my .Mac Account.

I basically wanted to host a site which was not immediately traceable to me (at the moment it uses my surname as my .mac login)

Cheers Anyway.
