Yes now its the Black Screen of Dealth, only its not from M$ but from apple.

I don't know what with my computer, but the screen freezes, and White writing in a black background similar to dos appears and every thing is FROZEN.

Some message like "Kernel unable to resolve blah blah blah"

Well, i never thought this would happen in X. Never Ever again anyway. But yep, it happens again, and again, and again.

I really don't want to reformat my computer but this is getting out of hand.

it only happens when i startup any program, and is normal when idle.

If that happens as frequently as described by you you've got problems. Or rather your Mac has got problems.

I'd back-up now. Either burn everything important to CD or dump it onto an external drive. The minimum worth saving, assuming you've got access to all your application install CDs, are your /user/documents/ and /user/library/ folders. If you've got stuff in other folders you might want to grab them too, i.e. pictures or movies you've made.

Then I'd run a disc check, using your OSX installer disc. See what that does, if you can repair whatever damage has occurred. If that doesn't work I personally would blitz the drive and start from scratch.

Best of luck.

Incredibly RARE a KERNLE PANIC is NOT, Well not for me...

Well, i never hated protestors before, but now i do, and im all for war.

They stopped traffic in the middle of the day in the middle of the city of Adelaide.
I was stuck in traffic for 1.1/2 hours and was late for my lecture.

But im not angery anymore, the simpsons is on, and you can never be angry with the simpsons on.

i have toast, but that crashes the system when i start it up,

I have no external HD, but have an ipod, and i don't think i can mount it before it crashes.

All my disc utilities are in are OS 9 versions, and i don't have os 9 anymore, the CD is heavily sractched.

I did run disc utilites, from CD, and it said problems found, unable to be fix, or similar to that.

When kp's are regular, chances are they're being caused by a bad RAM stick/hd corruption. Most likely the former.

As for the blue screen it is likely the window server dying and dropping you back to the login window. Which (assuming most is well) will log you right back in as if you just booted up.

But something is up, back up now and being to trouble shoot.
The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it always to be kept alive.
