Hi, Did a search and cannot find exactly similar question.
I have an iMac 2.4Ghz with 2 GB ram, and the Radeon 2400 HD GPU. I'd like to play RPGs such as ---Neverwinter nights 2
---Elder Scrolls Oblivion
Will these run acceptably on my computer? I don't have to have everything maxed out, in fact I will probably turn all the graphics settings as low as possible. Will they run on my parallels 3.0 or do I have to go with bootcamp? Any other good RPGs I can play on my computer (not interested in WoW). Thanks in advance!

They should run fine, maybe not on all highest settings.
Also, I'm not entirely sure, but you'll need to do your gaming natively in Boot Camp (rebooting into Windows) because Parallels and Fusion don't support the latest DirectX drivers.

an update, just to share my experience with boot camp/gaming on an iMac:
got boot camp installed, XP sp3, and finally NWN2...the iMac with ATI 2400 HD and 2GB ram has no problems at all with the game. Very smooth so far.
Now the tough part...making sure I don't spend too much time playing.
I will soon purchase Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and likely down the road also will try Diablo II, and probably Morrowind as well. That should take care of any free time I might have!
