Hey all happy holidays. Got a quick question for anyone. I recently got a G3 upgrade card and I'm supose to take out my L2 cache card. But the tech manual only lists a RAM cache slot is this the same? Or if you could tell me where I might be able to find some diagrams of the motherboard for a 8500. Thanks for you help.

It looks like just another ram slot.
It's labeled on the mobo.
You'll see a1-4 and b1-4, those are your ram slots.
I'm pretty sure the L2 slot is in between those, but make sure.
It should be clearly labeled somewhere by the slot.
Hope that helps.

You can find a lot of mobo diagrams here: http://www.macgurus.com/graphics/mgwhichram.html

Remember, Windows is just DOS in a clown face.
