HOw Do I disconnect from a Windows box once I'm done sharing from it? Is there a disconnect from server option in OS X? I can easily connect to it but disonnecting is a different story.

Did you connect via command-K?
If so, just drag the mounted volume to the trash, or select it and hit "command-E"
If you browsed via network/servers, you must manually select the volume in the same place and eject it (it will be a darker shade of gray).

10.3.2. I browse over the network. I do a command K then click the browse button. not sure how to disconnect that way.

This is a known problem trying to disconnect from servers, I have the same problem and I have read of the same problem from others on here, hopefully Apple has a fix in the works but the only solution to disconnect is to re-boot, ejecting or even logging out doesn't work.

Yep same problem here. I browse over a windows network at work via my 12" PB and I found that when I was connected, my PB would sometimes not go to sleep. I had to restart to disconnect myself. Pretty silly.
