That's from that show Blowin Up w/ Jamie Kennedy. It was kinda pathetic how bob saget was the only celeb they knew so they made that video with him.

One night they were sitting around and talking about how they need to do some music with a celebrity to give them credibility. The short dude sort of knew Bob Saget so they called him, picked him up, drove around town, and then Bob Saget got pissed and got out of the car at a stoplight.

Obviously they managed to get him back later on to film a video.

"cardigan sweater" is a redundancy. They should have said "argyle sweater"

Half the joke is the fact that they wrote a rap about Bob Saget. It's funny 'cause it is Saget, not in spite of it. They didn't just settle for him.

This is an MTV version of Curb Your Enthusiasm, another show which confused many people when it first aired.

Yeah, a quick search on YouTube will reveal some of his stand up. He did a parody of 'I want it that way,' but it was more along the lines of 'Danny Tanner was not gay.' Then he gave the reasons he must have been...

None of that is real - it's all for comedy. Bob Saget and Jamie Kennedy are actually buddies - they've done other comedy bits together. Back when Jamie Kennedy had his Candid Camera-like show, there was a bit where he posed as a "celebrity home tour guide", and got the people who weren't in on the joke to "tour" Bob Saget's house by first breaking into a back window. He then encouraged these people to jump on the bed and generally trash the place ("it's ok - it's part of the tour!"), and eventually several of them "found" a bunch of satanic videos in his bedroom. Bob Saget then arrived in the middle of all this and pretended to freak out over all the people who had broken into his house (he was actually really convincing at this - he's a better actor than we all thought I guess!).

The show went way downhill from there in subsequent episodes, but that was by far the funniest bit they ever did.

I wish I could get that iTunes one, but no go up here in Canada. Mind you, it kind of loses its amusement factor if it has been edited.

In the meantime I have this sh!tty WMV version. Is there any way of converting it to Quicktime? QT Pro chokes on it. It plays it fine (with Flip4Mac), but won't export it to H.264.

cardigan |ˈkärdigən| noun a knitted sweater fastening down the front, typically with long sleeves.

That's what I was going by.

Ummm that's what makes it so funny. Take someone like FITTY CENT and it would be just another rap video. The point is they took the biggest "DAD" on tv and made him hardcore and dirty ... this video was AWESOME! Especially the "goodnight michelle".

While this video was funny (let me know where I can score a QT of it), they were not the first to make Saget hardcore dirty and funny.
