Which video formats does IMOVIE can accept?
I neither can import mpg!!!

imovie accepts DV format. that is all, apart from mp3 and other audio formats. If you need serious conversion between formats, you might want to get quicktime pro.

Yes it does. It's a much more powerful program than iMovie.

yeah, premiere is a big gun. so is final cut pro. they do some heavy lifting, but break out your wallet 'cause they don't come cheap.
