I have a set of photos that I've scanned an put online. I've reworekd these photos but I'm not satisfied with the results. I'm willing to take the necessary time to rescann my photos but would like to read some docs before doing so. I've googled a bit but was not satisfied by the results, where can i find docs on scanning howtos ?

its really hard to get a good scan from a desktop scanner. best I can say is scan em at a high res/size, make sure your scanner is clean, double check your colorsync calibrations, and spend alot of time in photoshop's curves function color correcting the hell out of them. (or just send out the negatives to be drum scanned)
