Possibly. Though, given her history with depression, I could see any drugs being used more as a conscious, purposeful act than any sort of accidental overdose by a junkie.

Yeah, that was my first thought as well, and given some of her songs, it seems as if she has had first-hand experience with hard drugs (the song Salvation comes to mind).

Yeah her age is such that she must have been barely 20 when the Cranverries were making it big. Not uncommon for musicians, I suppose, but somehow more noteworthy to me than Scott Weiland.
