Hi,
I am thinking of getting VP7 for one or 2 apps I use that I can't get on Mac. I am just curious though; has anyone evere tried playing video files in VPC7? Or using something like say, movielink.com?
It's not a deal breaker either way, but I am wondering if it is doable or if the video/sound would be all choppy. So if anyone has tried it and has some info, I would appreciate it.
Thanks!
P.S. I should add I had a g4 Alu Powerbook, 1.5 Ghz and 512 MB of RAM.

Not going to happen. It usually has trouble just with audio.

Will be choppy. And for general use, I would definitely recommend more RAM. 512mb is going to be paging virtual memory like crazy.
