Hi I hope somebody can help me within the hour.
I am going over to a friends and he has road runner high speed
internet service. I would like to use his service with my ibook.
What numbers and info do I need to hook my white ibook to it ?
I have an ethernet plug slot. And OSX no OS9

Just set your tcp/ip settings to dhcp and plug the ethernet cable in. With my roadrunner, I have to power off the cable modem for a full minute if I'm connecting a different computer, so do that after you connect it, but before you turn the ibook on. After the modem powers up and says it's online, turn on your ibook and you're set.
