What if Trump signed an XO for his own DACA, Deferred Action for Corporate Assets, in which he waived penalties and fines for moving off shore corporate assess back to the US. Would you say the same thing about the courts needing to establish if he has the authority?
...and yet it got pruned to hell and back by the courts. I think I even read all those people that got screwed by the first implementation can reapply for visas.
In the last, say, 15 years, which has killed more Americans:
- Illegal immigrants
- Deficient health care
That depends on who his defining "deficient healthcare" Would that include or exclude the VA system deaths?
This is page one of a letter from the DHS Sec. Johnson covering a four year period (2010-14) in which criminals with previous convictions were responsible for at least 121 murders. This does not cover those murdered by those without a US criminal record, yet here illegally.
I already covered this above in a response to you.
Now, explain to me why a dem majority is necessary to pass immigration reform.
If they did, they did not try very hard. Can you cite the HB or SB number?
Necessary? No. Easier? Yes. The (D) controlled Congress passed ObamaCare without a single (R) vote. You think they could have multitasked and passed a reform bill that also did not require a single (R) vote. You know, pass the bill, then found out what was in it.
No, just pointing out that Obama missed an opportunity to get an immigration reform bill passed while the Democrats had control of both houses and the WH.

No you're not. You're giving him disingenuous shit for not ramming it through. If he had done what you're suggesting you'd be criticizing the bill for being partisan or rushed. Youre playing pure politics here.

Yeah, go on and tell him what else he would do.

We don't need Chongo to weigh in to know how Chongo feels about anything. Take the standard Republican line fed to him by his conservative Facebook echo chamber, add a healthy dose of Catholicism, a dash of memes, and then copy and paste a 3000 word speech that's barely relevant to the topic. Boom, perfect Chongo post.

I think you have his formula down. What's Tightpant's formula?
We don't need Laminar/WAS/Poco/besson to weigh in to know how Laminar/WAS/Poco/besson feels about anything. Take the standard socialist line fed to him by his socialist HuffPo echo chamber, add a healthy dose of anti-Catholicism, Boom, perfect Laminar/WAS/Poco/besson post.
A socialist anti-Catholic who reads HuffPo? Which posts of mine reflect that?
Well you don't seem committed to repealing 'Obamacare ' and seeing as Obama was socialist and anti catholic, well, here we are.
I'm going to assume chongo has concede he was being a hypocrite about Obama not getting the Dream act done. That or he's saying he's not against how the ACA was done but merely it's content.

Look you guys, there's like this Catholic hospital that doesn't charge to treat people, so why do we need health insurance at all? All of those people that are bankrupt from medical bills, suffering due to inability to afford treatment, or have died due to lack of available healthcare are suckers for not just popping over to the free Catholic hospital!

I know that enjoying seeing somebody mocked is a sin that I will go to hell for, but this was a beaut!

You can mock all you want, but this was the case in the not too distant past, especially the hospitals run by religious orders.
What is the GOP stance on DACA? Are they in favor it but don't want to upset hardliners, In favor afraid of their voters, Against but don't want to admit it, or something else?
GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham (S.C.) warned on Sunday that the White House staff is undercutting President Trump and Congress's ability to get a deal on immigration.
"Every time we have a proposal it is only yanked back by staff members. As long as Stephen Miller is in charge of negotiating immigration, we're going nowhere," Graham told reporters as he headed into a closed-door negotiation with a bipartisan group of senators.
He added that "the White House staff, I think, is making it very difficult."
White House spox @hogangidley45 responds to @LindseyGrahamSC: “As long as Sen. Graham chooses to support legislation that sides with people in this country illegally and unlawfully instead of our own American citizens, we’re going nowhere. He’s been an outlier for years”
Pelosi just made a stand on DACA. Whether that's to mitigate how boxed in the Democrats are on the issue remains to be seen. Polls showed that while the majority supports DACA, they don't support a shutdown over it.
