I was tilting my eMac 700 over to do a HD replacement, it slipped, landed screen first on my desk. I picked it up, and there was a nice dark spot in the middle of the scree. I blew the CRT. GAR!

So, I have an eMac here with a dead CRT and no way to use an external monitor.

Only choice it to part it out, and am willing to do it for cheap.

Motherboard unit with 768 ram and unformatted 20 gig HD: $50 shipped

Speaker Unit with speaker covers: $10 shipped

eMac swivel base stand: $20 shipped

fan unit: $10 shipped

Whole lot: $70 shipped

Also looking for a RETAIL copy of OS X Tiger as well as iLife '06, and would be up for a trade for either - just drop me a line to hash out details.

You know that weird looking port on the side of the eMac next to the USBs and FireWires?

That's a mini-VGA port.

I'd advise you to get a mini-VGA to VGA adapter from Apple for $20, then attach an external monitor.

EDIT: I just looked in my drawer of tech and found an extra one...

I greatly appreciate the comment, but a buddy of mine cut me a sweet deal on a lampshade iMac, so I'm hoping to get rid of these parts and cut down the price on that.

If anyone has Tiger for trade, I'd give you all these parts and $20
