TRADE PENDING-TRADE PENDING-TRade PENDING

Well I traded my cousin my desktop pc+ some extra stuff for a macbook pro.But since I am a n00b with macs I dont need the macbook pro.So what I would like to do is trade it for a decent macbook plus some cash or other mac stuff.I have a maybe trade in the works already but this is just to widen my options.I can get pics on request. The specs on the macbook pro are

2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
1440 x 900 pixels
1GB memory
120GB hard drive1
6x double-layer SuperDrive
ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 graphics with 256MB SDRAM

pm me if you have something intresting.Oh yea and I am also looking at desktop macs as well.

Hey, why would you want to trade for a desktop. What you have right there is an excellent substitute for a desktop mac. Just get yourself a decent lcd and you are SET!!! You have the Core 2 Duo intel chip so thats a plus. I think you should keep what you have, you'll love it if you get used to it.

and a macbook c2d 2.0ghz with superdrive

Hey, your laptop probably only has 128MB of VRAM, just FYI. The 2.16 C2D came stock with it, and I'm not even sure there was a BTO option..

well, the seller last signed in tonite around 9pm. if he hasn't replied to anyone else, then i think we can assume that it has been sold.

i'd like for the seller to say how he determined the final configuration. it's ok if someone is not sure of their configuration, but after a couple corrections, i'm a little bit wary.

I spoke to him briefly on Aim, we were setting up a deal to trade in person and he gave me a phone number, a phone number that doesnt work but a lookup on the number gives me an address and provider that matches where he said he lives. Im not sure if he is just busy or if he is ignoring everyone.

to assist everyone else. here's the pm i sent with questions that other people may want to know

i have a couple questions about your macbook pro.

1. how do you know for sure that you have a 2.33ghz macbook pro with 256mb vram? the price difference between the models you think you have is considerable.

2. when does the warranty expire?

3. are there any dead or flawed pixels on the screen.

4. is the screen matte or glossy?

5. are there any dents or scratches on the outer surface of the macbook or other cosmetic blemishes?

i have previously posted in your thread, so i was wondering what kind of trade you're looking for? i have an intel 20" imac with 256mb vram and 2gb ram. how much cash (in addition to the imac) would you want?

thanks

Andrew

Im not going to be online tonight because I am helping my girlfriend move. Are you trading with that other guy or are you trading with me? I sent you a PM stating that I would be willing to send a PSP along with the macbook just to sweet'n up the deal. How about you give me a call when you get a chance tonight and we can talk it over.

I was starting to wonder the same thing. This whole thing seems a little questionable. We'll see how it plays out though.
