Can a 15" Powerbook G5 with an ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 support a 1680x1050 resolution on an external LCD display? I've got a Samsung SyncMaster 205bw, but the native resolution and most resolutions above 1360x768 "blink" on and off. I can't get the native resolution to work
I'm using the digital input....

Well, considering the Powerbook G5 never existed, I'm gonna say that no, it probably can't handle 1680x1050
On the Radeon 9600, it looks like it can handle 1680x1050 at it's max range in Windows with an upgraded driver from the original. I don't know if Apple ever incorporated the new driver to enable 1680x1050 on it's 9600s.

9600 should have no problem with 1680x1050... 1920x1200 (digital) or 2048x1536 (analog) has been supported by graphics cards for a long time.

Given that my PowerBook G3 Pismo supports 1680x1050 you should be fine
