I have a new Macbook Pro - just got it Monday. I just noticed last night that Front Row doesn't seem to be installed - when I do a search in Spotlight, all that comes up is Front Row.pkg. When I try to run that, it says "There were errors installing the software. Please try again." Repeated tries make no difference in the result. Right this minute, I'm on the road, so I cant check the disks that came with it to see if it's there.

Am I missing something obvious, or is there a problem here...?..

It's a shim installed elsewhere - exactly where escapes me now. Have you tried just running the app using the keyboard commands?

try using your remote.

or press option+esc at the same time
