Pretty interesting.

If anything, I like the refreshing approach to the GUI.

Looking forward to the ones that did make the cut . . .

ahhh wowow!!!

that's almost a Matrix theme, sure is sweet.

i'm really busy at the moment... but i'm almost tempted to ask for that PSD file and permission to make that theme...

just out of curiosity, is it possible in ThemePark to do those 4 lines at the top of the Finder window?

eme : "how long before these appears as a windows skin"

Well If you read my post, the theme in the screenshot, is the theme that im not gonna use..I trached it, I made 5 Designs, but are only gonna do the 3 best ones..
and Im not going to do windows themes ever! ..

On a personal note:
Im finding it quite BAD, that the mac themers are starting to look at windows themes to copy, on to the mac os!

COME ON YOU MAC THEMER'S OUT THERE ..BE KREATIVE !! =)
Let's make stuff, that will make the Window's themes copy us, and not the other way around

I think he's refering to the fact that some mac theme concepts were turned into Windows themes before the author even completed it. I can't remember the exact event but I remember something like that happening.

yes i was referring to the fact that there some win skinners browsing these forums, and tend to make them for windowblinds

Well the last design, Im not quite sure what to Im gonna do with it..I might make it..I might not..but If I show It off, then there will be no "wow" effect

Maby I will just make it a Opensource Theme design, and hope some one will make it..
We just have to see what happens..But im still working on it, they all have to be Pixel perfect!

can't wait for the teaser.

and just getting back to my last post about those 4 lines at the top of the Finder window... how would that be possible in ThemePark? can anyone answer that? i thought that the part where those lines are had to be the brushed texture, or whatever you replace it with. i just dont' know how you'd do those lines. just a question from a curious themeing youngster.

so fireside, you're saying that you can only have the 'lines' at the very top of the window, right?

to have it look right, it'd have to be running underneath where the 'color' and 'font' icons are (roughly)...

actually, it has to be running right above the toolbar icons.

but yeah, you can do just about anything by resizing the metal bevels (don't listen to people who say "make everything the same size as aqua," it will screw some things up if you make things bigger, but if you know what you're doing its easily fixed (for example, in a normal metal window, you couldn't read the text at the top of the metal window, but i just wanted to show you that you could put the lines anywhere, but yes, you can make it so the lines are lower than the text and you can make the text readable) ).
