Browsing with tabs
From Apple:

"Say you?re reading a web page filled with intriguing links, but you want to continue reading that page. You could always choose to open links in a new window, but you might end up with dozens of windows that way. Now Safari Beta 2 lets you see and switch between multiple web pages in a single window, using tabs."

In the past, when you clicked on a link it opens up another window right? SO if you clicked on a bunch of links you'll end up with a bunch of windows on your computer. With "tabs" whenever you click on a link, you RIGHT-click it and "Open Link in New Tab." You can also Command-Click (Or press the Apple key and click). Try it, I think you'll really like it.

Yup, just like he said, it allows you to view different webpages under one window in tabs. Use Control+T to open new tab for keyboard shortcut, it'll save you a lot of time then doing it under File on top...

Tabbed browsing is a very useful feature found in almost all Mozilla-based browsers.

You must have been using IE or Omniweb if you've never seen it before.

Thank you all for the responses. I do not have a right click, so I clicked on various links on a page holding the Apple key down. All I got was a bunch of open windows piled on top of each other. I didn't see any tabs, nor were the windows really even accessible because they were hidden by other windows. It doesn't look or act any differently than I have seen before, so either I am completely misunderstanding the process or I already use it unknowingly. But I have never held the Apple key down while clicking on links before, so I doubt that is it.

With the latest beta of Safari, you have to go into Preferences and to the Tab preferences, and Enable Tabbed browsing.

Once you've done that, in the File menu, you'll be able to spawn new tabs... or you can use Command-T to make new tabs. Give it a go.
